Packing for a two-week vacation has proven to be quite a challenge. If I were actually moving to Hawaii tomorrow, I probably wouldn't bring too much more than I currently have packed.

I don't know how to pack, either. Particularly when I'm going somewhere with a different climate. If I were going to Hawaii in the summer, I'd be able to pack more easily than after I've already gotten accustomed to wearing all my fall clothes and sweaters.

But I don't feel sorry for you. No, I do not pity the person has that difficulty packing for a tropical holiday. I am much too jealous to empathize.

I used to be an opera singer, and thus had to pack for six or seven weeks at a time. I ALWAYS ended up with clothes that I didn't wear, in two hugely overstuffed suitcases. Good times, good times.

Well, me and my overpacked suitcases have arrived, after a lengthy day of travel. I kept notes about life on Continental flight 15 and hope to type that up and post it tomorrow morning. For now, it's time to sleep. My body doesn't know what's going on.

An opera singer? That's tremendous. I can't even sing decent karaoke.

Lanikai Juice at 572 Kailua Road in Kailua, Oahu is where Matthew Fox and the cast of Lost go for breakfast each day.

You must go there and capture ole Charlie Salinger for me, please.

I have the range of about 3 notes. Karaoke is not even an option for me. Unless you guys like pain.
