Stench (n) [stench] - 1) an offensive smell or order; stink; 2) a foul quality

Also see: The Jets' effort yesterday.

I can't understand how a team can look so good one week and then look like a JV squad the next. Particularly a team with a legitimate shot to make the playoffs. Conversely, the Packers couldn't do anything right against the Jets last week, but yesterday went and beat up on the 49ers.

As the holiday season rapidly approaches, might I provide my annual reminder that egg nog and other alcohols (for instance, red wine and/or beer, as we tried yesterday, or red wine and blackberry brandy, which we gave a go last year), do not mix.

I'm here to help.

This is why one must stick to a single alcoholic beverage per outing. Say, rum, for instance. Rum mixes well with football, regardless of the time of year

    An excellent point.

A friend happened to send this helpful article the other day.

I hope you noticed I was extra quiet when making my way down for my blueberry bagel this morning.

Thanks for sleeping over. You were outstanding last night.

"Particularly a team with a legitimate shot to make the playoffs" heheheheheheh

I have been a Jet fan my entire life and have learned one thing. They will play just well enough to break your heart. The Jets have made some good progress this year but they are not a playoff team. they are an average 8-8 type of team. They may do better than that because of strength of schedule but that is the only reason why. I am thankful they solidified the offensive line however until they get rid of Pennington they will never have a real chance to do anything. Pennington will never win a game with his arm. They should have drafted Lineheart but I will settle for seeing what Clemens can do. Pennington is not the long term answer. they should get rid of him sooner than later.

Mom, I'd prefer if you didn't watch that video. And I certainly don't want you to watch it four times.

A.S.S., I completely agree on Pennington. Having a fragile QB is no way to win.
