Before we get to the travels of the past two months, a few more bad rooms...
Today's selections prove that just because people have money does not mean they have good taste. The rooms featured below come from a house that is on the market for $1,999,000.
Let's start with the dining room, which is completely over the top, but I guess if you're going to spend $1,999,000 on an abode, this is what your eating quarters are bound to look like:
Moving on to what I can only assume are the family room and sitting room...
Call me crazy, but I don't want to do any sitting with my family in either of these rooms.
Let's check out the bedrooms, where dramatic draperies were apparently the order of the day...
Bad. Just bad. But not as bad as this...
I have been looking at houses for several months and this is easily the worst bathroom I have seen. It almost defies description. What the hell is that blue and gold velour sprawled on the walls and ceiling? Did they do that on purpose?
Lest I appear completely negative, allow me to point out the absolute highlight of the house - the bar...
If I had to (and had an extra $1,980,000 on hand), I could probably live in this room alone.
In completely unrelated news, I saw this picture last week. I think it sums up the whole situation with His Holiness and his playing status - Goofy.
But it does provide the cheery reminder that football season is almost upon us...
